Search in library

Basic searching

To search for items in the library, type the text you want to find in the search box.
When you don't specify a tag, R-Player will search in every tag.
Some tags are skipped when fast library search is enabled.

Search for a specific tag

You can search for text in specific tags. To do this, type the tag in the search box, followed by a colon and the text to find.

Example:
artist:nightwish

To search for an exact match, quote the text:
artist:"system of a down"

You can search for the following tags:

Artist
Album
Title
Year
Genre
Composers
FileName
